"Hot"

Here is my hot challenge. I faked the lens flare but I think it came out really nice. I am a few days behind so instead of catching up I will just try to post some more pictures tomorrow. Maybe some that I will take for my photography class.

Today's post: "Hitch"

I am not terribly creative, so here is my attempt at the challenge for today. Hitch. I would just like to say that I know the photo is soft. I also wish there was some more light on my brother's face. That being said it is really really HARD to take pictures at night. This is on some super creepy road out by my house. The only light we had was from my headlights with the high beams. I am not real happy with the way this turned out but it is what I have for this. I wish that the focus and lighting were better. When it warms up I am determined to practice taking pictures at night. And I think I will look for less creepy roads as I probably could have done better if I didn't
want to hurry up so much!

"Parts" Our photo challenge from yesterday

Here is yesterday's photo challenge. I am a little behind. My daughter's have yucky colds and my workflow is hindered my the cute Aimee keeping my lap warm all the time. Here is my uncreative attempt at parts. These are the remaining parts I can find of my IPOD. My little Aimee was crying and I gave it to her to make her happy. I strongly suggest against this as I am still looking for my IPOD, and I sure do miss it!

More from today

I am gonna post several for today. Just because the sun has visited TX even though it seems we only see it once a week the last few weeks. I hope it is still around tomorrow since it was so beautiful today!

My Aimee in the yard. She thinks she is so big! She can't figure out why her feet don't touch the pedals.


My neighbors tree which still looks like it is stuck in fall. I don't think it knows what season it is.

Here is Aimee after our walk. She was trying to get inside. BTW, we aren't seeing Faith on here today cause she didn't want me to take her pictures. I sure wish she would be a more willing model. I bet almost every photographer would agree with that.

Today's challenge, "Rise".

Well, I am feeling terribly uncreative, and I have a house full of sick kids, and a mountain of work growing by the second. Here was my try at today's challenge of "Rise". I rose up out of the shadows. Cheesy I know.


Also here is yesterday's challenge which was "embrace". Faith was ready for bed so she embraced bedtime. Here was the shot I got before we went in to bed.

Beginning

Today's challenge was beginning. I was really stumped as the first thing I think of when I think of the beginning is GOD. So.... Here it is. My choice for beginning.

Photo Challenge Indulge and some others

So today is Indulge and almost everyone was posting food (which is a great indulgence) but I wanted to post something different. So I posted this. It is Aimee indulging the curious nature that is her, trying to see inside the laundry room through the cat door.



I am also posting two other pictures today. My Dirty Aimee, who is sick today and so she is carrying around the medicine container as if it somehow makes her feel better (it's empty btw).
And a picture of my nephew and his toy. I really like the DOF on this one. Comments always welcome!

Thought I would throw a couple more pictures of my flash practice from today. A little more organized than this morning. My Nephew Jeffrey. He really didn't want to participate. But the prospect of M & M's made him smile for me.

My First Picture...More practice with my flash

I hope it's okay to start this off late. This is another practice shot with my flash. My Aimee loves to sit in my computer chair and play with my mouse. I think maybe she sees me sitting here too much. lol. Stats: Bounced off the ceiling with my fong, f/4.5, ss250, iso 200. I think it looks kinda flashy but I am happy with the catchlights I got. CC is always welcome.

Starting Late
